In support of SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, the Kidapawan Doctors College Inc. (KDCI) faculty and students from different departments and organizations participated in 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙅𝙀𝘾𝙏 𝘼𝙂𝙊𝙎 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮-𝙒𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣-𝙐𝙥 𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚 & 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 (𝙎𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙉𝙪𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙍𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧), on August 8, 2026, held as part of the opening activity of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 organized by the City Government of Kidapawan.
 
Carrying the theme, “𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘈𝘥𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱,” the activity also reflects SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among the youth, educational institutions, local government units, organizations, and community volunteers in addressing environmental concerns.
 
As part of the activity, the KDCI community was assigned along the Nuangan River, where individuals worked together to collect trash and other waste found along the riverbank. Through this collective effort, the participants contributed to maintaining a cleaner and healthier environment while promoting environmental responsibility among the youth and the wider community.
 
More than a clean-up activity, PROJECT AGOS 2026 serves as a reminder that meaningful change begins with collective action. By working together to protect the Nuangan River, the KDCI institution continues to support the goal of building cleaner, greener, and more sustainable communities for present and future generations.
