The Kidapawan Doctors’ College Incorporated (KDCI) student publications, KDCEye (college) and The Pulseline (senior high school), held their first joint general assembly on August 7, 2026, at the KDCI Mock Court Room, bringing together staffers and advisers to discuss publication matters and preparations for the Academic Year 2026–2027.
The program began with Ms. Zeddy Kate E. Amar, Office of Student Affairs (OSA) Director, delivering the opening remarks, where she shared her experiences as a former student journalist and emphasized the importance of student publications in the institution.
Following the remarks, advisers Mr. John Mark I. Bautista and Mr. Lyndon T. Sugcawan introduced their respective publication staffers, giving them an opportunity to interact and build connections with one another.
Mr. Bautista discussed key matters for the academic year, including the duties and responsibilities of student journalists and the editorial policies outlined in the publications’ Constitution and By-Laws.
Meanwhile, Mr. Sugcawan delivered a message emphasizing the staffers’ responsibilities and the importance of dedication in carrying out their roles as campus journalists.
The meeting concluded with both publications reaffirming their commitment to responsible campus journalism and strengthening their coordination as student journalists, embodying KDCI’s core value of leadership.
