On November 17, 2025, members of the Medical Responders Club participated in an Emergency First Aid Training conducted by the Philippine Red Cross, held at the Nursing Amphitheatre Lecture Room, KDCI Main Campus. During the training, the young medics tackled multiple scenarios and learned essential first-aid treatments, including proper glove usage, face mask removal, checking airway, breathing, and circulation (ABC), opening the airway, placing patients in the recovery position, compression-only CPR, and transfer techniques in applicable situations. They also practiced bandaging techniques for eyes, ears, cheeks, and jaws, as well as the management of hypothermia, heatstroke, dislocations, cuts, and fractures. By practicing these skills in a variety of simulated emergencies, the participants ensured they are well-prepared to act swiftly and effectively in real-life situations. This training reassures both the participants and the school community that, during Panagsilab 2025, students will be in capable and ready hands in case of any injuries or emergencies. ✍️ | Dann Deo C.
