In line with its commitment to promoting mental health awareness, Kidapawan Doctors College (KDCI) conducted a Suicide Prevention Program carrying the theme, “Choose Hope, Share Kindness, Save Lives,” at the Training and Learning Center (TLS) on August 6, 2026. The seminar featured Babylyn I. Altizo, RPm, CHRA, as the resource speaker, who discussed the importance of recognizing warning signs of suicide, fostering empathy, and encouraging individuals to seek timely support to help prevent mental health crises.
The activity gathered students from the Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Tourism, and Senior High School programs, providing them with valuable insights on mental health promotion and suicide prevention.
Through the discussion, participants were encouraged to become more compassionate, supportive, and proactive in creating a community where hope is strengthened, kindness is shared, and lives are valued.
