On September 3, 2026, the Kidapawan Doctors College, Incorporated (KDCI) – Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management conducted a Parent’s Meeting for the senior KATURISMO students who will embark on their internship journey through the Training-to-Employment Program.

The meeting was organized to prepare the students and their parents for this significant phase of their academic and professional journey. It also provided an opportunity to discuss the objectives, expectations, training opportunities, and career pathways available to the senior students.

Mr. Fred S. Sarco, Program Head of the Tourism Management Department, presented the objectives and goals of the internship program. He emphasized the importance of choosing the right training partner aligned with each student’s career aspirations and future professional goals.

He also introduced the various training venues where students will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and develop industry-ready skills in the tourism and hospitality sector.
The identified training venues include:
✈️ OMNI Aviation Training Center
🌊 SOLAS-BTS
🎢 Aqua Planet Theme Park
🏨 Royce Hotel
✈️ Clark International Airport

Through these industry partnerships, KATURISMO students will be given opportunities to enhance their skills, broaden their professional exposure, and prepare themselves for the demands of the global tourism and hospitality industry.

More than an internship, this program opens doors toward a “Passport to Work”—equipping students with relevant training, experience, and competencies as they take their first steps toward employment.
Congratulations, KATURISMO!🎉

Thank you for continuously pursuing excellence through relevant, industry-driven training programs and meaningful partnerships that prepare our future tourism and hospitality professionals for globalization and the world of work.
