MABUHAY! WELCOME ABOARD!
What an incredible learning journey beyond the four walls of the classroom!
Our BS Tourism Management students successfully conducted their On-the-Bus Tour Guiding and Mabuhay Hosting from Kidapawan City to Bamboo Sanctuary, Calinan, Davao City as part of our Sustainable Tourism subject.
From the moment we left Kidapawan, our student tour guides took charge delivering spiels, sharing stories, hosting games, and giving safety reminders with a warm Filipino smile. You could feel the confidence building with every kilometer!
The highlight?
Our destination the serene and beautiful Bamboo Sanctuary in Calinan, Davao City. A perfect example of sustainable tourism! We learned how bamboo our cultural root can be protected, utilized, and transformed into a sustainable attraction that helps the community and the environment.
Truly, "Cultural Roots, Sustainable Future: Learning and Growing Together."
This activity taught us that tour guiding is not just about talking it's about hosting, caring, storytelling, and responsible tourism.
Kudos to our future Tour Guides and Tourism Professionals! You made us proud!
Thank you to our Sustainable Tourism Instructor, our driver, Bamboo Sanctuary management, and all who made this educational tour safe and successful!
From Kidapawan to Davao, we didn't just travel we learned, we hosted, we grew together!
Mabuhay ang Turismo! Mabuhay ang KDCI!
