SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals were highlighted through another meaningful collaboration between academe and industry in promoting excellent customer service, innovation, and sustainable business practices.
Today, the Katurismo Program Head of Kidapawan Doctors College, Incorporated, Mr. Fred S. Sarco, shared his expertise in customer service, bringing academic knowledge and industry-based practices closer to the food and beverage sector at Kape Espresso Works, City of Koronadal.
With the theme: “BRANDING THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE: WINNING CUSTOMERS’ HEARTS!” the training emphasized the importance of exceptional customer service in building a strong brand and creating memorable experiences for customers.
The workshop covered various topics, including the impact of the coffee business on society, standards in customer service, industry best practices, customer relationship management, and strategies for building a distinctive service brand.
This partnership provides an avenue for knowledge to be transformed into practice, strengthening cooperation between the academe and industry and contributing to the continuous development of the tourism and hospitality sector.
Through initiatives like this, KATURISMO continues to promote learning beyond the classroom—bringing knowledge, skills, and best practices into real-world industry settings.
Congratulations to the dedicated staff and entire team of Kape Espresso Works for an engaging and interactive session!
And congratulations as well to our Resource Speaker, Mr. Fred S. Sarco, for sharing his expertise and passion for excellent customer service.
KATURISMO: LEADING IN ACTION. CHAMPIONING SKILLS.
