KATURISMO students were given the incredible opportunity to visit three of the Philippines’ top tourism destinations—Ilocos Norte, Baguio, and Manila—in a memorable **5 days and 4 nights** educational tour filled with fun, learning, and adventure.
From *“I’m IN!” Ilocos Norte* to *“Breath Baguio”* and *“My Manila,”* the KDCI-KATURISMO journey was successfully conducted under the guidance of Tourism Instructor and Adviser **Ms. Marielle P. Barrientos**, in partnership with various Local Government Units (LGUs) of the visited destinations.

This immersive experience allowed students to truly understand the essence of their academic subjects by practicing **sustainable and responsible tourism**. They also gained a deeper appreciation of Philippine history through cultural and heritage tourism across the regions.
The tour offered diverse hands-on experiences—from tasting the best delicacies of the Ilocos Region, enjoying Baguio’s famous sweets, to indulging in modern culinary offerings at Vikings Alley in Manila. Students also showcased their skills through **basic demonstrations such as sushi-making and bartending**, earning certificates from professional trainers.

Through initiatives like this, **KDCI-KATURISMO** continues to bridge learning and real-world experience, preparing students to meet the demands of the tourism and hospitality industry.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Tourism Department Head, **Mr. Fred S. Sarco**, for supporting this meaningful endeavor and allowing students to witness the true value of the tourism and travel industry.
Indeed, this journey has inspired students to appreciate and uphold **sustainable tourism practices and development**.

**Kudos, KATURISMO! Congratulations and Mabuhay! ðŸŽ‰*
