The 3rd Pinning and Send-Off Ceremony of the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management program of Kidapawan Doctor's College Inc., was successfully held on February 13, 2026, at Kuya Rey's Catering and Services. With the meaningful theme, “From Classroom to Crossroads: Pinned to Serve, Sent to Explore,” the ceremony marked a defining milestone in the academic journey of the students as they transition from structured classroom learning to the dynamic realities of their respective industries.
The program emphasized the guiding principles of the "3𝙋𝙨: 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙢, 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚” shared by guest speaker Ma'am Meldred F. Samblaceño. These values serve as a foundation for success—professionalism as the standard of conduct and excellence, passion as the driving force behind meaningful service, and purpose as the reason that gives direction to every action.
Sir Fred Sarco, MBA-HRM, encouraged students to 𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮, reminding them that uncertainty is part of growth and that adaptability is essential in the ever-evolving tourism and hospitality industry. In addition, Dr. Christina D. Collena, PhD, highlighted that “𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙢 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣—𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩,” emphasizing that the field requires dedication, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve people beyond expectations.
The ceremony also became a moment of gratitude and recognition, especially to all the parents and guardians whose unwavering support, sacrifices, and encouragement made this achievement possible. Their presence served as a testament to the strong foundation behind every student’s success.
