Beyond lectures and classrooms, KDCI Psychology took learning to heart—and to Lake Sebu.
As part of 𝙋𝙎𝙔𝘾𝙃 𝙁𝙀𝙎𝙏 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠, the department held its 𝘿𝙖𝙮 2 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙖𝙩 𝙏’𝘽𝙤𝙡𝙞 𝙎𝙗𝙪 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡, 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙗𝙪, 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙤, on February 10, 2026, stepping outside the city to connect with a community rich in culture and tradition. More than just an academic requirement, the visit became a meaningful exchange of stories, smiles, and shared experiences.
Through interactive activities, meaningful conversations, and even shared meals, students experienced psychology beyond theories, seeing it in empathy, social connection, and cultural appreciation.
In collaboration with the KDCI NSTP students, school supplies were also distributed to support the learners’ academic needs. What seemed like simple materials carried a deeper message: education grows stronger when communities come together.
For KDCI Psychology, Lake Sebu was not just a destination, it was a reminder that understanding people begins with reaching out.
