In collaboration with ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ต ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ฎ, the event featured distinguished speakers including ๐๐ฟ. ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ถ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ป, Discipline Head of Pharmacy Practice at Monash University, Malaysia; ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐น, Senior Project Manager for Learning Technologies at Monash University, Australia; and ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐บ๐ผ๐ป๐, Senior Learning Technologies Developer at Monash University, Australia. The symposium was represented by ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ด๐ป๐ผ๐, ๐ฅ๐ฃ๐ต, ๐๐ฃ๐ต, and ๐๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ผ, ๐ฅ๐ฃ๐ต, ๐ฃ๐ต๐, Faculty and Head of the KDCI Pharmacy Department, and supported by ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ, ๐ฅ๐ฃ๐ต, the key advocate of the MyDispense community in the Philippines and official representative of the Philippine Pharmacists Association (PPhA).
The two-day event explored key advancements in pharmacy education, with a special focus on the integration of technology in training and practice. Participants had the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge tools like MyDispense, a web-based dispensing simulation platform, which is being adopted globally for its effectiveness in enhancing practical skills in pharmacy students. The collaboration between Monash University, PPhA, and KDCI showed shared commitment to advancing pharmacy education and improving healthcare delivery in the Philippines and beyond.
